Merging existing user accounts
With Clickpass installed on your site, you will find a number of your existing members would like to use Clickpass with their accounts.
Adding an OpenID for an existing user is technically straightforward but you should take care to make sure the user isn't confused into creating a duplicate account with you.
Where to merge
There are a lot of different ways in which merging a user can happen. However, there are only a few places that it really makes sense.
Why merge accounts?
Allowing users to merge their accounts is not required but gives your existing users all of the advantages of Clickpass.
